The system at Beauxbatons and Salem's Institute is different from the Hogwarts system of teaching and taking exams, graduating and the most important things the houses.
At Hogwarts four are three houses: Slytherin, Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, and Ravenclaw.
At Beauxbatons there are three groups: Beginners Groups, Intermediate Groups, and Advanced Groups.
The Beaginners are those who are in: 1st year, 2nd year and 3rd year.
The Intermediate are those who are in: 4th year, 5th year and 6th year.
The advanced ones are the only students who are in 7th year.
At Salem's Institute: it applies the same a different rule from Hogwarts and Beauxbatons.
1st year = 6th Grade 2nd year = 7th Grade 3rd year = 8th Grade 4th year = 9th Grade 5th year = 10th Grade 6th year = 11th Grade 7th year = 12th Grade
